Developed and published with the same Natsume and THQ cooperation that produced WWF Wrestlemania 2000 for the Game Boy Color, this fully licensed title marks the first appearance of the World Wrestling Federation on the Game Boy Advance. The game features two dozen pro wrestlers including Triple H, Kane, The Rock, and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, each with a distinct special move appropriate to the wrestlers real-life style.Action includes several types of moves (grapple, running, mat, finishing, hardcore match, and cage) and game modes (season, gauntlet, exhibition, King of the Ring, Ironman, Royal Rumble, and Pay-Per-View). Match types include single, tag, triple-threat, handicap, and cage, with adjustable rules such as time limit, count out length, pins, submission, or rope breaks. Six WWF arenas are available for play: Raw is War, SmackDown, King of the Ring, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, and WrestleMania.WWF Road to WrestleMania offers three difficulty settings (easy, normal, and hard) and options to squelch the sound and music. A password system allows for continues after each month (four matches) of seasonal play. Up to four competitors can mix it up if each has a copy of the game and the appropriate number of link cables.
